GenOS- Intuit’s Generative AI Operating System
Intuit had named its generative AI operating system as GenOS which was rolled out in June and empowers the Assist feature. The company said building GenOS became easy as it had its own customer data using the large language models (LLMs) to create GenOS. The new operating system is focused on solving tax, accounting, marketing and personal finance challenges.
GenOS Enables Intuit Build AI Features for Its Entire Product Family-
GenOS core components-
- GenStudio– A custom development environment made only for developers to swiftly iterate on the Inuit AI-related products.
- GenRuntime– It selects data sets and large language models for a given task dynamically
- GenUX– It offers a unified user experience for Inuit all artificial products
As per the sources from the company, Intuit Assist can be available or soon to be for TurboTax, QuickBooks, Credit Karma and Mailchimp.
Each product’s functionality will vary under Assist, with Credit Karma members receiving significantly more personalised financial advise as a result of AI-based customisation. While QuickBooks will get basic ERP features based on an AI-powered capacity to detect strong-selling products and “cashflow hotspots,” TurboTax will simply automate access to much of the company’s huge knowledge base and offer customised filing checklists. Finally, Mailchimp will integrate with QuickBooks to give tailored email content, assist in creating marketing copy, and manage client information.
