Former vice president of AI at Meta, Jerome Pesenti, just unveiled Sizzle, a new learning software and chatbot that uses AI. Sizzle is a free app that offers users step-by-step solutions to math equations and word puzzles. Grading, step regeneration, numerous answers to a single task, and the ability to upload assignment images are four new features that have just been added to the app.

A platform called Sizzle functions similarly to Photomath and Symbolab, but it does more than only solve maths problems. Additionally, it can assist with word problems in the study of physics, chemistry, and biology. Sizzle is appropriate for students in middle school, high school, AP, and college.
Many students rely on learning apps incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) to get answers right away without having to learn anything. Cheating students frequently use OpenAI’s ChatGPT. however, does more than just offer solutions to the issues. The application serves as a chatbot instructor, guiding the pupil through each stage. Students can also enquire with the AI to better understand the concepts.
Pesenti, who focused on making Meta products safer through the use of AI, said, “After leaving Meta, I was inspired to leverage AI to truly help students and non-students no matter what kind of background they come from, the school they attend, or how many resources they have. I felt that applications of AI haven’t had a clear positive impact on people’s lives. Using it to transform learning is an opportunity to change that.”
Is Sizzle accurate enough?
The Sizzle app achieves an AI accuracy rate of 90% by combining huge language models from third-party sources like OpenAI with its own internal model development.
