Appdome Joins Hands with JetBrains for the Automation of Delivery of Secure Mobile Applications

Synopsis-

“Appdome has recently announced the integration of its Cyber Defense Automation Platform with JetBrains TeamCity’s CI/CD cloud-based service.”

Appdome has recently announced the integration of its Cyber Defense Automation Platform with JetBrains TeamCity’s CI/CD cloud-based service. This integration allows teams to automate the build, testing, and deployment of their mobile applications with ease. With JetBrains TeamCity now being part of the Appdome Dev2Cyber Agility Partner Initiative, this collaboration aims to promote the delivery of secure mobile applications on a global scale.

Appdome brings cyber defenses for iOS and Android-

Implementing cyber defense measures manually in Android and iOS apps can be a complex, slow, and fragile process. However, Appdome offers a solution to these challenges through its cyber defense automation platform, which utilizes technology to integrate cybersecurity defenses into iOS and Android apps.

The platform includes a range of features, such as runtime application self-protection or RASP security for apps, code obfuscation, mobile data encryption android, jailbreak detection, root detection, man-in-the-middle attack prevention, on-device anti-malware, anti-fraud, anti-cheat, anti-bot, and other protections. By using Appdome, delivery of cybersecurity defenses is streamlined, and release times are accelerated, making it a valuable tool for app developers.

The new partnership between Appdome and JetBrains TeamCity addresses the need of mobile brands to automate the delivery of cybersecurity in mobile apps and keep up with modern DevOps pipelines.

New-age mobile app users are more aware of risks-

Mobile app users today have an increased awareness of security risks and demand more protection from their apps. A recent survey conducted by Appdome revealed that 94% of global consumers would recommend a brand if its mobile app offered them protection against security threats, fraud, and mobile app malware attacks. Additionally, 68% of respondents indicated that they would abandon brands that did not provide adequate app security.

Tom Tovar, CEO of Appdome, said, “Our recent global survey shows that consumers’ preferred way to interact with brands is mobile, which increases the urgency for development teams to create and update apps frequently to remain competitive. They’re working in an environment that is continuous, agile and fast-moving.”
