UnfoldLabs Inc.: Innovation, Expertise, and A Bit of Talent to Help You Reach New Heights with Your Products and Ideas

Today, having a new and unique idea is not enough to gain a high ground in the market. Organizations need to have tough marketing strategies and business plans to convert their ideas into products that have a competitive advantage. UnfoldLabs Inc. makes that happen.

Set up in Sunny San Diego, California, in 2015 by Entrepreneurial & Innovation leadership experts, UnfoldLabs brings innovative solutions to common people. The firm expanded its horizons to build technology solutions for the future by considering clients’ needs and the marketplace. Ensuring a high level of success, the team at UnfoldLabs is focused to work on design, innovation and strategic products & solutions.

We got a chance to interview the CEO of UnfoldLabs Inc., Mr. Asokan Ashok, who was happy to share his business journey with us. Below is an excerpt from the interview.

How successful was your first project rollout?

The implementation of our first product, “RedGreen – Best Android Optimizer,” was challenging but successful. Even though the team was small, our hunger, eagerness, energy and determination were key to making projects a huge success. Currently, RedGreen has over 500,000 downloads with an amazing 4.3+ rating on Google Play. Our team had a wonderful experience to learn/adapt and change to get creative for future products.

What challenges did you face in your initial years?

Building a team and getting the right people with a can-do mindset was the primary challenge. As an innovative product development company, the initial few users and reviews were hard. The positive reviews gave us a good boost and made us work harder towards making better products. And the negative reviews made us look deeper inside ourselves to think better and create better & more creative user experiences. What enabled us to succeed was the way we reacted & responded to the feedback of customers. Eventually, we got the best outcome for our efforts.

How have you nurtured the culture of feedback at UnfoldLabs Inc.?

We have experienced exponential growth over the years and believe that feedback is imperative to build better products. We take suggestions from everyone in the organization – from the families to software engineers to QA to management and get a 360-degree review. In addition, we review analytics from technology and strive to get better results. We make sure that everyone knows how essential their feedback is to the company’s success, and this is how we grow and glow.

How do you stay relevant to consumer interests and needs in this highly volatile market?

Change is the most important thing in this volatile market. We are very open to it & continue to deliver platforms, products, and solutions that encompass high customer expectations, creativity, and innovation to stay on top as leaders.

Customer Experience and needs are essential aspects of innovation in our products. We get inputs on technology & issues from conferences around the world by speaking, attending and observing. Authoring and Publishing creative blogs help us learn and adapt to the latest trends in technology.

What are the factors that make your brand most ‘innovative’ and why?

We have the most innovative products/solutions in the industry, and we’re proud to say that our products have changed the lives of our customers. Continuous learning and creative problem solving make our products beneficial to the users. Instead of creating new technology and try to fit it into the market, we understand our customer’s needs and try to reach their requirements with creative product development.

How does your company contribute to the competitive global IT platform at large?

The products we have launched over the years address real-world customer issues. For example, we developed MyFamily, a platform to solve Digital Parenting issues. In addition, we developed SecureME, a Kiosk Mode Launcher that addresses security issues in corporate offices and schools. We can proudly say that our products are helpful to our customers and are making a dent in the world.

People like when companies are involved in social welfare/CSR activities, what do you say about this?

There is a great saying by Winston Churchill – “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”  We believe in giving too & have a CSR in place. Our motto is to help the world with technology and solutions that make a difference in the lives of people. As a result, we have developed all products keeping the end customer/social aspects in mind.

Do you have any new products ready to be launched?

We have launched a host of innovative and award-winning products in the past 4+ years. In addition, many products are being incubated in our labs. We are looking at AI, ML and NLP technologies and how they can help users with their lives. We’re also expecting to launch an innovative mobile solution/platform for “Mood Detection” – a product of the future. It will be developed and designed to detect a person’s mood and send quotes, memories, the nearby event offers, play music & videos accordingly.
